From fleshly worship to spiritual worship:

Mark 12:

It is written: "the (statement) ‘TO-LOVE HIM from the whole heart, and from the whole understanding, and from the whole strength’, AND the (statement) ‘TO-LOVE THE NEIGHBOR as himself’, ARE MORE (IMPORTANT THAN) ALL THE WHOLE-BURNT-OFFERINGS AND SACRIFICES”." (Mark 12:33).


John 4:

A Samaritan woman said to Jesus: "OUR FATHERS WORSHIPED ON THIS MOUNTAIN, and you (Jews) say that the place where ONE-MUST WORSHIP IS IN JERUSALEM”. Jesus says (to) her, “Believe Me, woman, that (an) hour is-coming when you-(Samaritans)-WILL-GIVE-WORSHIP (TO) THE FATHER NEITHER ON THIS MOUNTAIN NOR IN JERUSALEM" (John 4:20-21), "(an) hour is-coming, and NOW is, when THE TRUE WORSHIPPERS WILL-GIVE-WORSHIP (TO) THE FATHER IN SPIRIT AND TRUTH. For indeed the Father is-seeking such (ones to be) the (ones) worshiping Him. God (is) spirit, and the (ones) worshiping Him worship in spirit and truth”" (John 4:23-24).

The woman mentioned here specifically "our fathers" (John 4:20) in contrast to Jesus memtioning "the Father" (John 4:21). Jesus also mentioned specifically "Jerusalem" (John 4:21).

Romans 12:

Paul wrote: "I-urge you, brothers, by the compassions (of) God, to-present YOUR BODIES (AS A) LIVING HOLY SACRIFICE pleasing (to) God, (AS) YOUR REASONABLE WORSHIP" (Romans 12:1).


Romans 15:

Paul wrote: "I (might) be (a) minister (of) Christ Jesus to the Gentiles, temple-working the good-news (of) God in-order-that THE OFFERING (OF) THE GENTILES might-become acceptable, HAVING-BEEN-SANCTIFIED BY (THE) HOLY SPIRIT" (Romans 15:16).

Paul mentioned here specifically "temple-working the good-news (of) God" (Romans 15:16).

Philippians 2:

Paul wrote: "If I AM EVEN BEING-POURED-OUT [like a drink offering] upon THE SACRIFICE and service (OF) YOUR FAITH, I-am-rejoicing (over it)" (Philippians 2:17).


Philippians 3:

Paul wrote: "we are the circumcision, THE (ONES) WORSHIPPING (IN THE) SPIRIT (OF) GOD and boasting in Christ Jesus AND NOT PUTTING-CONFIDENCE IN (THE) FLESH" (Philippians 3:3).

Paul mentioned here specifically "we are the circumcision" (Philippians 3:3).

Hebrews 10:

It is written: "(while) entering into the world, He-says [in Psalms 40:6-8]: “YOU-DID NOT DESIRE SACRIFICE AND OFFERING, BUT YOU-PREPARED (A) BODY (FOR) ME. YOU-WERE NOT WELL-PLEASED (WITH) WHOLE-BURNT-OFFERINGS AND (OFFERINGS) FOR SIN" (Hebrews 10:5-6), and then it is written about Jesus that "THIS (ONE) [Jesus], HAVING-OFFERED ONE SACRIFICE FOR SINS FOR ALL-TIME, sat(-down) at (the) right (hand of) God" (Hebrews 10:12).


Hebrews 13:

It is written: "let-us-be-continually OFFERING (A) SACRIFICE (OF) PRAISE (to) God, that is, (the) fruit (of) lips praising His name. And do not be-forgetting GOOD-DOING AND SHARING. FOR (WITH) SUCH SACRIFICES God is-pleased" (Hebrews 13:15-16).


1 Peter 2:

Peter wrote: "you-yourselves also as living stones are-being-built (as a) spiritual house for (a) holy priesthood, TO-OFFER SPIRITUAL SACRIFICES acceptable (to) God through Jesus Christ" (1 Peter 2:5).

Peter mentioned here specifically a "spiritual house" (1 Peter 2:5).
