From fleshly Jew to spiritual Jew

From fleshly Jew to spiritual Jew:

John 8:

Being a mere fleshly Jew from the fleshly seed of Abraham was not the same as being a spiritual child of Abraham doing the works of Abraham.

It is written that "the JEWS" (John 8:31) said to Jesus: "WE-ARE (THE) SEED (OF) ABRAHAM" (John 8:33), in a fleshly sense, being fleshly descendants of Abraham. Jesus told them: "I-know that YOU-ARE (THE) SEED (OF) ABRAHAMBUT you-are-seeking to-kill Me" (John 8:37). Then "They-responded and said (to) Him, “Our father is Abraham”. Jesus says (to) them, “IF YOU-ARE CHILDREN (OF) ABRAHAMYOU-(WOULD)-BE-DOING THE WORKS (OF) ABRAHAMBUT now you-are-seeking to-kill Me, (a) man Who has-told you the truth, which I-heard from God. Abraham did not do this" (John 8:39-40).

The Jews mentioned here specifically that "Our father is Abraham" (John 8:39) and Jesus mentioned specifically the "children (of) Abraham" (John 8:39).

Romans 2:

Someone is not Jew from what is visible, but from the hidden thing, that is, from inside.

Paul wrote: "THE (JEW) IN THE VISIBLE (THING) IS NOT (A) JEW, nor (is) the (circumcision) in the visible (thing) in (the) flesh circumcision, BUT THE (JEW) IN THE HIDDEN (THING IS A) JEW, and circumcision (is of the) heart, by (the) Spirit not (the) letter" (Romans 2:28-29).

Romans 9:

Being a mere fleshly Jew from the fleshly seed of Abraham was not the same as being counted as a spiritual seed and child of Abraham or of God.

Paul wrote: "not all these (ones) from Israel (are) Israel. NOR (ARE THEY) ALL CHILDREN BECAUSE THEY-ARE SEED (OF) ABRAHAM, but “In Isaac (a) seed will-be-called (for) you”." That is, THESE CHILDREN (OF) THE FLESH (ARE) NOT CHILDREN (OF) GODBUT THE CHILDREN (OF) THE PROMISE ARE-COUNTED FOR SEED" (Romans 9:6-8).

Paul mentioned here specifically "children (of) God' (Romans 9:8).

Galatians 3:

Someone is counted as seed of Abraham only if they are in Christ.

Paul wrote: "the promises were-spoken (to) ABRAHAM and (TO) HIS SEEDHE DOES-NOT SAY [in Genesis 13:15] “AND (TO) SEEDS”, AS (THOUGH SPEAKING IN REFERENCE) TO MANYBUT as (though speaking in reference) to one, “and (TO) YOUR SEED”, WHO IS CHRIST" (Galatians 3:16), "And IF YOU (ARE) CHRIST'S, THEN YOU-ARE SEED (OF) ABRAHAM, heirs according-to (the) promise" (Galatians 3:29).

From fleshly circumcision to spiritual circumcision:

The fleshly circumcision was a subject of boasting for any fleshly Jew. One considered himself to be a Jew because that one had been circumcised in the flesh. But what mattered was a spiritual circumcision.

Romans 2:

The visible circumcision in the flesh is not circumcision, but the spiritual circumcision, of the heart, by the Spirit.

Paul wrote: "if the uncircumcised (one) keeps the requirements (of) the Law, WILL NOT HIS UNCIRCUMCISION BE-COUNTED FOR CIRCUMCISION?" (Romans 2:26), and so "the (Jew) in the visible (thing) is not (a) Jew, NOR (IS) THE (CIRCUMCISION) IN THE VISIBLE (THING) IN (THE) FLESH CIRCUMCISIONBUT the (Jew) in the hidden (thing is a) Jew, and CIRCUMCISION (IS OF THE) HEART, BY (THE) SPIRIT not (the) letter" (Romans 2:28-29).

1 Corinthians 7:

Paul wrote: "Has anyone been-called in uncircumcision? LET-HIM NOT BE-CIRCUMCISED. CIRCUMCISION IS NOTHING and uncircumcision is nothing, BUT (THE) KEEPING (OF THE) COMMANDMENTS (OF) GOD" (1 Corinthians 7:18-19).

Galatians 5:

Paul wrote: "in Christ Jesus NEITHER CIRCUMCISION NOR UNCIRCUMCISION CAN-DO ANYTHINGBUT FAITH WORKING THROUGH LOVE" (Galatians 5:6).

Paul mentioned here specifically faith "working" (Galatians 5:6) through love.

Galatians 6:

Paul wrote: "NEITHER CIRCUMCISION nor uncircumcision IS ANYTHING, BUT (A) NEW CREATION" (Galatians 6:15).

Paul mentioned here specifically "(a) new creation" (Galatians 6:15).

Philippians 3:

Paul indicated how he had been from his past a fleshly Jew who was circumcised in the flesh on the eighth day as a baby, writing: "BE-WATCHING-OUT (FOR) THE MUTILATIONFOR WE ARE THE CIRCUMCISIONTHE (ONES) WORSHIPPING (IN THE) SPIRIT (of) God and boasting in Christ Jesus and not putting-confidence in (the) flesh, though myself having confidence even in (the) flesh! If any other (person) thinks (that he may) put-confidence in (the) flesh, I more, (IN) CIRCUMCISION (THE) EIGHTH-DAY" (Philippians 3:2-5), "BUT what (things) were gains (to) me, THESE I-HAVE-REGARDED (TO BE A) LOSS FOR-THE-SAKE-OF CHRIST. But more than that, I-am indeed regarding all (things) to-be (a) loss for-the-sake-of the surpassing (greatness of) the knowledge (of) Christ Jesus my Lord, for-the-sake-of Whom I-suffered-loss-of all (things) and AM-REGARDING (THEM AS) GARBAGE in-order-that I-may-gain Christ" (Philippians 3:7-8).

Paul did not put confidence in the flesh, in his circumcision in the flesh on the eighth day as a baby, but instead he counted this metric as "GARBAGE" (Philippians 3:8) in Christ, as one is to have a spiritual circumcision, of the heart, by the Spirit.

Paul mentioned here specifically "the (ones) worshipping (in the) Spirit" (Philippians 3:3).

From fleshly Israel to spiritual Israel:

Romans 9:

Paul wrote: "I (would) pray (that) I myself (might) be accursed from Christ for (the sake of) my brothers, my kinsmen ACCORDING-TO (THE) FLESH, WHO ARE ISRAELITES, (of) whom (is) the adoption-as-sons and the glory and the covenants and the Law-giving and the (temple) service and the promises, (of) whom (are) the fathers, and from whom (is) the Christ ACCORDING-TO (THE) FLESH" (Romans 9:3-5), but "NOT ALL THESE (ONES) FROM ISRAEL (ARE) ISRAEL" (Romans 9:6).

Paul here specifically mentioned that to "my brothers, my kinsmen according-to the flesh" who are Israelites belong "the (temple) service" (Romans 9:4).

1 Corinthians 10:

Paul wrote: "Look (at) ISRAEL ACCORDING-TO (THE) FLESH, are not the (ones) eating the sacrifices sharers (of) the altar?" (1 Corinthians 10:18).

Paul mentioned here specifically that the Israel according to the flesh are "the (ones) eating the sacrifices sharers (of) the altar" (1 Corinthians 10:18).

Philippians 3:

Paul indicated how he had been from his past from Israel by all fleshly metrics, writing: "If any other (person) thinks (that he may) put-confidence in (the) flesh, I more, (in) circumcision (the) eighth-day; FROM (THE) NATION (OF) ISRAEL" (Philippians 3:4-5), "BUT what (things) were gains (to) me, THESE I-HAVE-REGARDED (TO BE A) LOSS FOR-THE-SAKE-OF CHRIST.

Paul did not put confidence in the flesh, so as to be considered from his past from Israel by all metrics, but instead he counted all the fleshly metrics to be counted from his past from Israel as "GARBAGE" (Philippians 3:8) in Christ, as one is to be from spiritual Israel.
