People can have senses to interact with their environment: seeing, hearing, touching, tasting. 

The human spirit has several spiritual senses to interact with the spiritual environment, the spiritual realm, such as:

- Seeing (Numbers 22:31).

- Hearing (Revelation 1:10).

- Touching (Isaiah 6:7).

- Tasting (Revelation 10:10).

- Spatial orientation (Revelation 1:10).

- Sense of movement (Revelation 21:10).

Seeing:

The human spirit is able to see things in the spiritual realm.

It is written: "the LORD OPENED THE EYES of Balaam, AND HE SAW THE ANGEL OF THE LORD standing on the road" (Numbers 22:31).

Notice how one can even tell where is located what is seen, as for example here he saw the angel of the Lord "standing on the road" (Numbers 22:31).

Hearing:

The human spirit is able to hear things in the spiritual realm.

It is written: "I CAME TO BE IN THE SPIRIT on the Lord’s day, AND I HEARD behind me A LOUD VOICE like the sound of a trumpet" (Revelation 1:10).

Notice how one can even tell if a voice is "LOUD" (Revelation 1:10).

Touching:

The human spirit is able to touch things in the spiritual realm.

It is written: "I SAW the Lord sitting on a throne" (Isaiah 6:1), "And one of the seraphs flew to me and in his hand was a burning coal taken with tongs from the altar. And HE TOUCHED IT ON MY MOUTH" (Isaiah 6:7).

Notice how one can even tell where the touch happened, as for example here specifically "ON MY MOUTH" (Isaiah 6:7).

Tasting:

The human spirit is able to taste things in the spiritual realm.

It is written: "I CAME TO BE IN THE SPIRIT" (Revelation 4:2), "And I took the little scroll out of the hand of the angel, and I ate it up. And it was like SWEET HONEY IN MY MOUTH. And when I ate it, MY STOMACH WAS MADE BITTER" (Revelation 10:10).

Notice how one can even tell what kind of taste it is like, whether "SWEET" (Revelation 10:10) or even "BITTER" (Revelation 10:10).

Spatial orientation:

The human spirit is able to sense spatial orientation in the spiritual realm. 

It is written: "I CAME TO BE IN THE SPIRIT on the Lord’s day, and I heard BEHIND ME a loud voice" (Revelation 1:10).

Notice how one can even tell where exactly the things located is spatially, as for example here specifically "BEHIND ME" (Revelation 1:10).

Sense of movement:

The human spirit is able to sense movement in the spiritual realm. 

It is written: "I CAME TO BE IN THE SPIRIT" (Revelation 4:2) and "one of the seven angels [...] he CARRIED ME AWAY IN THE SPIRIT to a great and high mountain" (Revelation 21:9-10).

Notice how one can even tell that they are not carrying themselves away but how another being "CARRIED ME AWAY IN THE SPIRIT" (Revelation 21:10).
