Several major biblical figures are recorded to do that, and certains actions are recorded that they did in the spiritual realm as they went somewhere with their spirit

You can find more details below:

Ezekiel:

Ezekiel 8:

Ezekiel went somewhere with his spirit, as it is written: "(the) Spirit lifted me up between the earth and between the sky, and BROUGHT ME TO JERUSALEM IN A VISION OF GOD" (Ezekiel 8:3).

Ezekiel was watching people in the spiritual realm, as it is written: "And He said to me, Son of man, DO YOU SEE WHAT THEY ARE DOING, THE GREAT ABOMINATIONS WHICH THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL IS DOING HERE, that I should be far from My sanctuary? But you turn back and you shall see greater abominations." (Ezekiel 8:6), "And He said to me, GO IN AND SEE THE EVIL ABOMINATIONS THAT THEY ARE DOING HERE. And I went in and looked. And, behold, every form of creeping thing, and detested beast, and all the idols of the house of Israel were carved on the wall round and round." (Ezekiel 8:9-10).

Elisha:

2 Kings 5:

Elisha went with his heart somewhere to see what someone did in secret in 2 Kings 5:

It is written in 2 Kings 5:23-24: "Naaman said [to Gezahi], “Take two talents of silver.” And he took in two bags, and two changes of clothing, and put them upon two of his servants, and they carried them before him. And HE CAME TO A SECRET PLACE, and took them from their hands".

Here Gezahi did something in a "SECRET PLACE" (2 Kings 5:24). Yet the next verses reveal that Elisha's heart went there to see what happened.

It is written in 2 Kings 5:25-26: "he [Gehazi] went in and had stood before his master. And Elisha said to him, “From where did you come, Gehazi?” But Gehazi said, “Your servant has not gone here or there.” Then ELISHA SAID TO HIM, “MY HEART WENT WITH YOU, when the man returned from his chariot to a meeting with you, did it not? And now YOU RECEIVED THE SILVERAND NOW YOU RECEIVED THE CLOTHING".

Here Elisha saw what Gezahi did in the secret place when Elisha went with his heart with him, and as a result Elisha judged him for that.

It is written in 2 Kings 5:27: "So the leprosy of Naaman will be joined to you, and to your seed into the age!” And he went out from his presence leprous, like snow".

Paul:

Colossians 2:

Paul was watching people in the spiritual realm, as it is written: "even though I-AM-ABSENT (IN) THE FLESH, NEVERTHELESS I-AM WITH YOU (IN) THE SPIRITREJOICING and SEEING YOUR ORDER and the firmness (of) your faith in Christ" (Colossians 2:5).

Paul was also in the context of writing this letter in prison, as he wrote: "The greeting (of) Paul (by) my (own) hand, remember MY CHAINS" (Colossians 4:18). While Paul could not move in the flesh to see them (as he was imprisoned with chains), he could apparently come to be "SEEING" (Colossians 2:5) their order with his spirit.

1 Corinthians 5:

Paul was watching people in the spiritual realm, as it is written: "I, BEING-ABSENT (IN) THE BODY BUT BEING-PRESENT (IN) THE SPIRIT, have already JUDGED" (1 Corinthians 5:3).

Early Christian author commentary:

Around the 5th century, a Christian author named John Chrysostom wrote: ""For I verily being absent in body, but present in spirit." [1 Corinthians 5:3] [...] These things moreover he said, not only to urge them unto the declaration of their sentence and to give them no opportunity of contriving something else, but also to frighten them, as one who knew what was to be done and determined there. For this is the meaning of being "present in spirit:" as Elisha was present with Gehazi, and said, Went not my heart with you? [2 Kings 5:26] Wonderful! How great is the power of the gift, in that it makes all to be together and as one; and qualifies them to know the things which are far off. "I have judged already" [1 Corinthians 5:3]" (Homily 15 on First Corinthians).

Here John Chrysostom referred to what Elisha did in 2 Kings 5:26 in connection to what Paul did in 1 Corinthians 5, where it is written that Elisha's heart went with Gehazi to SEE what he did.

2 Corinthians 12:

Paul was given revelations in the spiritual realm, as it is written: "I-will-come to VISIONS AND REVELATIONS (FROM THE) LORD. I-know (a) man in Christ, fourteen years ago, whether in (the) body, I-do not know, or outside (of) the body, I-do not know. God knows, (that) such (a one was) SNATCHED-AWAY TO (THE) THIRD HEAVEN. And I-know such (a) man, whether in (the) body or apart-from the body, I-do not know. God knows, that HE-WAS-SNATCHED-AWAY INTO PARADISE, AND HEARD UNSPEAKABLE WORDS WHICH (ARE) NOT PERMITTED (FOR A) MAN TO-SPEAK" (2 Corinthians 12:1-4).

John:

Revelation 4:

John was given revelations in the spiritual realm, as it is written: "I-saw, and behold, (THERE WAS AN) OPENED DOOR IN HEAVEN, and the first voice which I-heard speaking with me like (the sound of a) trumpet saying, “GO-UP HERE and I-will-show you (the things) which must take-place after these (things)”. IMMEDIATELY I-WAS IN (THE) SPIRIT. And BEHOLD, (A) THRONE WAS-SETTING (THERE) IN HEAVEN" (Revelation 4:1-2).
