Things on EARTH can be described as a SHADOW and COPIES of the TRUE things in HEAVEN

You can find more details below:

Shadow & copies on earth of true things in heaven:

Things on the earth can be described as a copy and a shadow of the true heavenly things, as it is written: "we-have such (a) High-Priest, Who sat(-down) at (the) right (hand of) the throne (of) the Majesty in the HEAVENS, Minister (of) the Holies, indeed (of) the TRUE [aléthinos 228 in Greek] tabernacle" (Hebrews 8:1-2), "if He-were on EARTH He-would not-even be (a) priest, (there) being the (ones) offering the gifts according-to (the) Law, who are-serving (a) COPY [hupodeigma 5262 in Greek] and (a) SHADOW [skia 4639 in Greek] (of) the HEAVENLY (things), just-as Moses has-been-warned, being-about to-complete the tabernacle: for “See”, He-says [in Exodus 25:40], “(that) you-make everything according-to the pattern having-been-shown (to) you on the mountain”." (Hebrews 8:4-5).

Things on the earth can be described as copies of the true heavenly things, as it is written: "(it was a) necessity (that) the COPIES [hupodeigma 5262 in Greek]  (of) the (things) in the HEAVENS be-cleansed (with) these (things), but the HEAVENLY (things) themselves (with) better sacrifices than these. For Christ did not enter into (the) Holies made-by(-human)-hands, COPIES [antitupos 499 in Greek] (of) the TRUE [aléthinos 228 in Greek] (things), but into HEAVEN itself, now to-appear (in) the presence (of) God for us" (Hebrews 9:23-24).

Early Christian author:

Around the 3rd century, a Christian author named Origen wrote: "“a land flowing with milk and honey.” This promise is not to be understood to refer, as some suppose, to that part of the earth that we call Judea. For, however good it may be, it still forms part of the earth that was originally cursed for the transgression of Adam. [...] Both Judea and Jerusalem were the shadow and figure of that pure land [...] in the pure region of heaven, in which is the heavenly Jerusalem." (4.622; extended discussion: 4.359–4.374).

Things on earth can be contrasted with true things in heaven:

Things on the earth can be contrasted with true things in heaven.

Jesus said that the wealth on earth can be contrasted with the true wealth in heaven, as it is written: "if you did not prove-to-be trustworthy with UNRIGHTEOUS WEALTH, who will-entrust the TRUE [aléthinos 228 in Greek] (thing to) you?" (Luke 16:11). Jesus said elsewhere: "DO NOT BE-TREASURING TREASURES (FOR) YOURSELVES ON EARTH, where moth and eating destroy, and where thieves break-in and steal. BUT BE-TREASURING-UP TREASURES (FOR) YOURSELVES IN HEAVEN" (Matthew 6:19-21), "No-one can be-(a)-slave (of) two masters. For either he-will-hate the one and love the other, or he-will-be-devoted-to one and disregard the other. YOU-CANNOT BE-SLAVES (TO) GOD AND WEALTH" (Matthew 6:24).

Jesus said that He is the true vine which can be contrasted to a mere vine on the earth, as it is written: "I am the TRUE [aléthinos 228 in Greek] vine" (John 15:1). Jesus is "(One) coming FROM HEAVEN" (John 3:31). This would be in contrast to a mere vine from the earth

Jesus taught often about mysteries of the kingdom of the heavens using things from the earth.

Early Christian authors:

Around the 2nd century, a Christian author named Mathetes wrote: "When you know what is the true life, that of heaven [...] then you will condemn the deceit and error of the world" (Letter to Diognetus 10:7).

Around the 2nd century, a Christian author named Clement of Alexandria wrote about the gifts granted from the Son of God from heaven: "The gifts granted through a faithful servant are not equal to those bestowed by the true Son." (2.593).

Around the 4th century, a Christian author named Alexander of Alexandria wrote about Jesus in connection to the Father in heaven: "He was begotten of the true Father Himself." ((c. 324, E), 6.295).

Connection between shadow on earth and light in heaven:

Things on EARTH can be described as a SHADOW of the things in HEAVEN

Jesus came FROM HEAVEN down to the EARTH to bring LIGHT, as it is written when He came that "the people sitting in darkness saw (a) great LIGHT. And (for) the (ones) sitting in (the) region and SHADOW [skia 4639 in Greek] (of) death, (a) Light rose (for) them" (Matthew 4:16).

There can be evidence that LIGHT can be found in HEAVEN, and DARKNESS can be found UNDER THE EARTH. If so, it makes sense that the SHADOW would be found in between those two: on the EARTH
