In the spiritual realm, spiritual ranks can exist. Indeed, spiritual beings can be described as having ranks, such that some are higher in authority than others.

You can find more details below:

Beings can have different spiritual ranks:

Jesus as highly exalted, having the name above every name:

It is written about "JESUS" (Philippians 2:5) that "God also highly-exalted Him, and granted Him THE NAME ABOVE EVERY NAMEin-order-that every knee may-bow at the name (of) Jesus, (of) heavenly (ones) and earthly (ones) and (ones) under-the-earth" (Philippians 2:9-10).

Archangel as a ruler over angels:

It is written about "MICHAEL the ARCHANGEL" (Jude 1:9). Michael was also said to be a ruler: "MICHAEL one of the first RULERS" (Daniel 10:13 (Masoretic)).

Michael can be described with "HIS" angels, suggesting that he is in a place of authority over those angels, as it is written: "MICHAEL and HIS ANGELS" (Revelation 12:7).

Humans on earth made a little lower than angels:

It is written: "what is MANKIND that you are mindful of them, HUMAN BEINGS that you care for them? You have made them A LITTLE LOWER THAN THE ANGELS" (Psalms 8:4-5).

Spiritual beings as rulers, authorities, world powers, spiritual forces:

Paul wrote that "the struggle (for) us is not against blood and flesh, but against the RULERS, against the AUTHORITIES, against the WORLD-POWERS (of) this darkness, against the SPIRITUAL (FORCES of) evilness in the heavenly(-places)" (Ephesians 6:12).

Paul mentioned beings which are not "blood and flesh" (Ephesians 6:12) and are "in the heavenly(-places)" (Ephesians 6:12).

Paul mentioned "RULERS" (Ephesians 6:12) which would be higher in rank than "AUTHORITIES" (Ephesians 6:12) for example. On earth in the first century human "RULERS" were higher in rank than human "AUTHORITIES", thus the same could apply for beings in the heavenly places.

In order from the higher rank to the lower rank, Paul would have mentioned: "RULERS" (Ephesians 6:12), "AUTHORITIES" (Ephesians 6:12), "WORLD-POWERS (of) this darkness" (Ephesians 6:12) and "SPIRITUAL (FORCES of) evilness" (Ephesians 6:12).
